Tiny Pedicure!

This past weekend I got a pedicure. When I got home, Julia saw my painted toes and kept pointing at them saying "Pretty!" Then she would point to her toes. So we went out and bought some pink polish for her toes and painted them up. She loves them and goes around pointing at her toes saying "Pink toes!" It's very cute!

I'm Only Happy When It Rains!

So the other day we had a very odd downpour under sunny skies around 6:30pm. Julia and I decided that the best thing to do would be to go outside and enjoy the nice, cool rain. She had a blast as did I. It's fun being a kid again!

My little girl turned 18 months on June 21st, 2009!! She is officially one and a half! She is getting to be such a big girl. She talks up a storm and runs around like a banshee! She's the light of my life and she cracks me up every day. We got her professional pictures done on June 27th, 2009. Enjoy some of the highlights from them below! The Cheese Face..

So most recently, every time Julia sees a camera, her automatic reaction is to scream "Cheese!" and then proceed to make her "cheese face." It is hilarious, albeit it weird. It makes getting pictures with her eyes open next to impossible. It's amusing to me that she has really learned this on her own and that it's just second nature for her to do it. It's good for me because it gives me a chance to laugh each and every day. Check out my cheesy girl!

Baseball, Mud Eating, and a Baby!

This past Sunday we went out to visit my brother-in-law, his girlfriend, and my two nephews. It was good times. We had awesome grilled chicken with baked and grilled potatoes and some yummy brownies. Julia ate like a hog as usual, she was so hungry she had to improvise! Another good thing. We finally got to meet Mr. Casey Joseph! He was born March 9, 2009. Julia, Brian, and I all held him and said hi. Hello and Welcome Mr. Casey!

We also got to go out to the baseball field and park and play some t-ball/baseball with Spencer. Julia just liked to wave the bat dangerously in the air and steal the ball. But that's a toddler for you!

Julia also got to play in the park and swing on the swings. All in all it was a good day and a ton of fun for a nice long Memorial weekend!

Whining, Whining, oh the Whining!

So yes, I love my daughter very much. She is the light of my life. However, she has, what I like to call, whiny days. Yesterday was just such a whiny day. I picked her up from daycare and she threw a fit as usual. (She wants to stay and play) But once I got her in the car we were singing Old MacDonald and everything was good. We got home and she even got to pet the puppy that was outside next door. All good. We got inside, I changed out of my work clothes and we settled in the living room to watch Elmo. It went downhill from there. If you looked at her wrong she would whine! This lasted all evening long! She got put to bed at 7:45. I'm thinking she is getting her 2 year old molars. I hope she is and that they get in soon! I'm sick of the incessant whining! Although her cuteness I have decided is what keeps her alive. :) That and the fact that I'm her mommy and I love her dearly!
